Introduction

This statement is published in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and has been made in respect of 2021.

Back to Back Care has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking

 

Our Commitment

  • The Company is opposed to all forms of human trafficking and slavery and takes all necessary steps to ensure the promotion of sound, moral and ethical practices throughout the whole of its business.

  • Due diligence processes for slavery and human trafficking.

​

  • The Company is committed to taking appropriate and proportionate steps to mitigate the risk of these occurring within our business and supply chain.

​

  • We procure the majority of our directly sourced materials from UK based organisations that are required to comply with UK laws on forced labour, and we expect these entities to have suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies.

​

  • As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk the Company has in place systems to encourage the reporting of concerns and the protection of whistle-blowers

 

Training

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking, we provide training to our staff.

 

Our effectiveness in combating slavery and human trafficking

To measure how effective, we have been to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chain.

  • We maintain a level of communication and personal contact with the next link in the supply chain to ensure their understanding of and compliance with our expectations.

​

  • We Regularly review supply chain policies, codes of conduct and our working practices to show commitment.

​

  • Employees can report any suspicion of slavery either through the Company’s Whistleblowing Policy or externally to the Modern Slavery Helpline below

This statement has been approved by the Directors of Back to Back Care together with all its parent and subsidiary undertakings from time to time and is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Our Company’s Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement.
